BUCK THE STIGMA Charitable Golf Tournament

The Buck the Stigma (BTS) Charitable Golf Tournament, formerly known as Par the Peaks, is WIA’s signature fundraising event, a golf tournament to bring the community together to support mental health and wellbeing in Big Sky.

Set with the stunning Lone Mountain as its backdrop, the BTS golf tournament takes place at the beautiful Big Sky Resort Golf Course - this year, on September 10, 2026. To commemorate the 25th anniversary of 9/11, WIA is inviting local first responders to participate. An 18-hole championship course, the scramble tournament is loaded with prizes, contests, and a celebratory 19th Hole Dinner and awards ceremony.

- Provide access to five (5) lower-cost counseling sessions for the community, reducing financial barriers to mental health services
- Support access for one local family to a summer camp program, giving them a safe and enriching place to learn, play, and grow throughout the summer
- Support 1.5 suicide prevention trainings offered at no cost, ensuring community members have the knowledge and skills to help keep one another safe
- Provide over 15 hours of no-cost resource navigation and care coordination services through the Community Health Worker (CHW) program
